Reparations go beyond past slavery to address ongoing injustices faced by Black communities.





The dismissal of the lawsuit seeking reparations for survivors of the Tulsa massacre shows the challenges in addressing historical injustices. The survivors sought acknowledgment and compensation for their losses, which included the loss of Black-owned land and the destruction of prosperous Black communities like Black Wall Street.

This ongoing struggle demonstrates that reparations aren't the same for all Black communities, and discussions should encompass perspectives beyond just the USA.
