The continent of Africans to origin for all black descendants. Hence the African diaspora, of going into detail about how we got to where we are today. And throughout this, us being black, and having roots that lead back to Africa has caused us tremendous trials throughout life. Yet, our roots Should be something we're proud of though we may not know all in detail.

Powerful words you used at the end of your writing. So much of our history has been lost and many choose to forget it as well. The secrets we will never know are hard for me to digest some days. I do feel that is the longing the writer was expressing, to find and uncover many things. We struggle living in this new world and the hopes and dreams of our first home-Africa. Our spirituality was suppose to sustainus but for some that has created an even more complex situation.
Thanks for sharing and enjoy listening to Beyonce to homage to our Motherland always!!!
